COTTON FLEECE ZIP UP (H14)

Background: Designed by Dora Szilagyi, the YZY GAP Cotton Fleece Zip Up was first seen on Ye on 03/26/2022, in a picture with @visionslord. The version he wore was a prototype, which was a Perfect Hoodie with a zipper sewn on. He would go on to wear it two more times, once the next day at Saint's Soccer game, and on 04/03/2022 to his Grandma's 85th Birthday. The Cotton Fleece Zip Up was initially planned for release in the Fall of 2022 as a part of the Holiday 2022 collection. Due to controversies surrounding Ye at the time, the collection was cancelled and first appeared in China on the Toaboa on October 27th, 2022, 2 days after Gap shut down yeezygap.com. (At one point, you could call Gap and ask to buy the SKU, and they would let you buy it, which is where the official retail prices come from) A Ye fanpage, @dondasglory, had seen this and tweeted about it, which caused Gap to take everything off Taobao. Gap would then wait a few months to release the collection on the Chinese App, Nice, through mystery boxes, and would begin slowly liquidating its stock to third parties. Yeezy would get some of this stock and put it up on yeezy.com for $20 for non-US customers; all non-poetic colors were sold on yeezy.com. (Yeezy Gap items were not sold in the US, most likely due to possible legal issues) Part of the hoodie's construction is based on Ye's Personal Vintage UNLV Anselmo's Running Rebels Hoodie/YGEBB Shrunken Hoodie.
