SATEEN ANORAK
2021-2022 - 471395 - $260ReleasedBackground: Designed by Demna and his team, the Sateen Anorak was the result of the culmination of multiple months of work. It was originally designed for Yeezy Gap in the Summer of 2021, but was released under YGEBB.
In December 2021, versions Ye would wear would feature a pocket on the right chest as well as the right sleeve, a split opening at the neck, as well as hood drawstrings. They would eventually update it for the pocket to be in the middle of the chest and have a flap opening, and would remove the split at the neck and right sleeve pocket.
Though a look for it was taken for the initial Lookbook of YGEBB, it was not edited and released, modeled by Bilal Cudjoe.
It was sold on yeezygap.com in Black and Dark Green, and it would then be released in stores at Gap's Tokyo and Shanghai Flagship stores.
The Anorak features multiple bungee cords, one at the hood, one on each cuff, and one at the waist.
The retail version did not feature any major changes from the lookbook/sample version. However, the initial prototype by Balenciaga was made of Nylon instead of Sateen and had a YZY Logo instead of a GAP Logo.
