Background: Designed by Demna and his team, the Round Jacket 2 was first seen on Ye on 02/08/2022 in Downtown Los Angeles, wearing a version with padding. It was then shown in the YGEBB Lookbook posted by Ye and The Gap, modeled by Aisha Potter (Female) and Bilal Cudjoe (Male). Black would initially drop on mythresa.com for unknown reasons and then months later make its way to yeezygap.com in September. Black and Dark Blue would then be released in stores at Gap's Tokyo and Shanghai Flagship stores. Contrary to popular belief, Dark Blue was not an Asia Exclusive and was going to be dropped on yeezygap.com, but never dropped due to the shutdown of yeezygap.com on 10/26/2022, after Ye's Statements. The Round Jacket 2 features a more oversized fit compared to the first one.
