SHDZ
2020-2022 - $160UnreleasedBackground: The SHDZ were originally a product developed in 2020 in Wyoming and then more in 2021 for a Season 9/2021 Yeezy Gap Collection; down the line, they eventually became part of YGEBB.
Co-Designed by Dora Szilagyi, Steven Smith, and others, the YGEBB versions are made from window tint film and were first seen on Ye at Rolling Loud Miami at Lil Durk's Set.
Following Rolling Loud, Ye would have his team contact multiple celebrities, models, etc from Lil Uzi Vert to Steve Lacy, and would have them take selfies in the SHDZ in a reflective room and then post the selfies to their social media.
Ye would then have a photoshoot of the SHDZ done by Nick Knight featuring Candice Swanepoel; some photos from the shoot would be released, but not all, as seen in a scene from "In Whose Name," which shows a photo of a baby wearing the SHDZ.
On 09/01/2022, Ye would post a video of Jonathan Kirby showing off the SHDZ, demonstrating that they are the first film roll-ups that are polarized and FDA-approved, and can be rolled up and put in your pocket.
Ye would then hold a SHDZ event on 09/13/2022, during New York Fashion Week, that would have people be able to try on the SHDZ and other YGEBB items.
The SHDZ would eventually be developed under YZY SZN9 after Yeezy Gap's Termination on 09/15/2022, a day after Ye said in a comment under a post of @yeezyxgap, "These are now YZYSHDZ no more gap".
On 09/17/2022, a SHDZ product page would load on Gap's App for $160 along with the Long Round Jacket for $600, but it was taken down.
On 09/19/2022, on yeezy.com, a waitlist for the SHDZ would be put up, although nothing would ever come from this.
At the SZN9 show, a SZN9 version would be handed out to attendees, although they would not be released under SZN9 either, and it would take 3 years for them to release them under SZNX in a Black colorway, unable to be folded up like the YGEBB version.
