Padded Denim Jacket

Background: This 2 of 2 Padded denim jacket prototype designed by Demna and the Balenciaga team was based on Johan Galaxy’s Giali's Padded Denim Jacket, which Ye wore in Paris on 10/14/2021, and some days later in Berlin, where Demna and his design team would extend the sleeve length, adding more material to the top of them and removing the Giali logo. It would then later be further customized heavily, distressing it, and adding more material to the shoulders and sides to give it more length and width (Originally had some alterations by Johan). Features a cropped fit, elongated sleeves, thick padding, metal buttons, and excessive distressing. Has a different wash compared to the YGEBB Lookbook version; the look is modeled by Bilal Cudjoe.
